    About This Training

    Join us for a comprehensive Cross Connection Training designed to equip local health department staff sanitarians with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, prevent, and address cross connection issues in water systems. Led by experienced EGLE trainers, this session will cover regulatory requirements, inspection techniques, and best practices for safeguarding drinking water.

    Who Should Attend:

    • Environmental health professionals
    • Local health department staff

    Why Attend:

    • Learn practical strategies for cross connection control
    • Stay up to date on regulations and compliance
    • Network with peers and experts in the field

    Join us for a two-day soils training designed for environmental health professionals and onsite wastewater staff. Enhance your field and classroom knowledge with support from EGLE experts! This training is hosted in partnership with Northern Michigan Environmental Health Association and District Health Department 10.

    DAY 1 – CLASSROOM TRAINING Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM Location: Devereaux Memorial Crawford County Library 201 Plum St, Grayling, MI 49738

    DAY 2 – FIELD TRAINING (Hands-On) Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    Please join us in Grayling on April 17th, 2019 at the Kirtland Community College for a Northern MEHA training meeting covering a broad range of environmental health topics. Agenda will be posted once finalized. 

    Cost for MEHA members is $15 and non-MEHA members is $25, which includes lunch. Payment by check or cash will be accepted at the door, no online payments are accepted. Registration deadline is April 10th, 2019.

    Northern MEHA is planning a one day training on Wednesday October 19, 2016.

    Please plan to join us at BJ's Restaurant, 990 North Center Avenue, Gaylord from 9:00am - 3:30pm.
