The 2022 Annual Training Conference, held at the Park Place Hotel in Traverse City, March 23-25, is a comprehensive learning and networking experience for Environmental Health professionals in local and state government, private industry and institutions in Michigan. This two and a half day conference will offer current information, best practices, training, and networking opportunities for attendees. Using a track based approach; a variety of topics covering the spectrum of environmental health (i.e. food protection, groundwater contamination, vector-borne diseases) will promote collaboration and assure you have the most up to date information. In addition, evening networking sessions will allow attendees opportunities to explore fun and exciting area attractions Traverse City has to offer. Hope to see you in 2022.

Virtual Conference Information
A continuous live stream will be provided for the general sessions (Grandview and Boardman Rooms), business meeting, awards, and covering the Food Track. The concurrent sessions (Environmental Health/General and Water/Wastewater) in the Park and Front rooms will be recorded and made available shortly after each presentation ends. The recorded virtual presentations will be made available for 3 months to be viewed at your convenience. The $100 fee covers CEU's for one person. Important note: Due to the ongoing pandemic, masks and full vaccination is required (unless medically unable to do so) in order to attend the in-person conference (or a negative test within 72 hours prior to the event). A form with the code of ethics from the MEHA constitution and a check box to indicate you are vaccinated, or have had a negative test, and agree to the conditions of the registration will be at the Registration Table. By registering, you are agreeing to follow these and other public health measures. Reservations can be made by calling Park Place directly at 231-946-5000. Guests must identify themselves with the group MI Environmental Health Association to receive the conference room rate.
A block of guest rooms has been held with rates of $85.00 for single occupancy or $129.95 for double occupancy, until filled or February 17, 2020, whichever comes first.
Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am. Parking is available on site for overnight guests.
West Bay Beach no longer will accommodate AEC attendees if the Park Place is full. There are plenty of rooms available throughout the Traverse City area.
Exhibitors and Sponsors will be featured in all electronic communications regarding the conference and included in conference programming.
Exhibitor Registration ($275): Includes one exhibitor table. One additional guest can be registered for a special price of $80.

Gold ($1200): A Gold Membership includes, one exhibitor table, one complimentary conference registration and recognition in the conference program and throughout the conference.
Silver ($800): A silver sponsorship includes one exhibitor table, one complimentary conference registration and recognition in the conference program.
Bronze ($500): Sponsors at this level will provide breaks during the conference. These breaks are greatly appreciated by the attendees and are an optimum time for networking and visiting exhibitor tables.
