Salary: Dependent upon education and experience: $41,024 - $57,063

Essential Duties:

Under general supervision of Environmental Health Director, the Sanitarian I-II performs a variety of advanced inspection, assessment, and educational duties to prevent risks to public health and safety through enforcement of applicable laws and rules regarding water supplies, waste water, food service inspections, enforcement of Sanitary Code and all State and Public Health Laws, and other environmental health duties to protect residents from harm.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must have: Bachelor’s degree in environmental health or related field (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Studies).

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license to operate a county vehicle is required.
