Part-Time Non-Eligible summer employee positions are not part of the Oakland County Merit System.  These positions are limited to 520 hours during the summer months.  This position will be working from Mid-April 2024 to Mid-September 2024.

Job Summary

Under close supervision, receives training and provides routine on-site inspections of places of lodging, day-care centers, food services, food processing establishments, public swimming pools and public beaches, making recommendations concerning licensing operations. Collects samples of drinking water supplies and sewage disposal systems for laboratory analysis. Utilizes current Countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
