Kent County Health Department – Supervising Sanitarian – Lead (Pb) Program & Indoor Air

Kent County is seeking a Supervising Sanitarian to work in the area of Lead (Pb) and Indoor Air including mercury investigations, radon, and vapor intrusion area of the Environmental Health Division planning, maintaining and evaluating environmental, institutional and community health programs, regulations and applicable state laws. This position will train, supervise and instruct staff in their technical and administrative duties including the Lead Program and Housing complaint response. Required: In addition to certification as a Registered Sanitarian, the qualified candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health or a related field and must demonstrate a minimum of three years of progressively responsible related experience. Certification as a Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor and EBL Investigator is highly preferred.
