Sanitarian Registration

The State of Michigan is no longer offering the Michigan Sanitarian Registration (RS) exam. To become a Registered Sanitarian in Michigan you must first take the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) exam for Registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS).

Information regarding the REHS exam can be found at http://neha.org/credential/index.shtml#rehsrs_cred.

Information on how to apply for Sanitarian Registration in the State of Michigan can be found at http://www.michigan.gov/documents/mdch_sanitarian_app_pkt_92130_7.pdf.
